Cypress Hills National Cemetery was established in 1862 and is located in Brooklyn, NY.
It consists of three areas: the national cemetery along Jamaica Avenue, the Union Grounds and the Mount of Victory Plot. The latter two are situated to the East of the Cypress Hills Cemetery, a private cemetery located approximately one mile North of the national cemetery.
