The Cloisters is the branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the 12th through the 15th century art & architecture of medieval Europe. Located on four acres overlooking the Hudson River in northern Manhattan's Fort Tryon Park, the building incorporates elements from five medieval French cloisters.

Fort Tryon Park is transformed into a medieval market town decorated with bright banners and processional flags every October. Performers, guests & festival goers dress in medieval costume, as you will see here.
